Privacy Policy
How Emerson Financial Group collects, uses, and protects the information you share with us.
Effective date: November 1, 2026
This policy covers emersonfg.com and the forms on it. "We," "us," and "our" mean Emerson Financial Group and its licensed agents.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you request a quote, apply to join our team, or book a call, we collect what you enter, such as your name, phone number, email, state, age, tobacco use, coverage interest, licensing details, and any message you write.
- Email sign-ups. If you sign up for blog updates or our newsletter, we keep your email (and first name, if you give it) to send you those emails; you can unsubscribe anytime, and we don't sell your information.
- Consent records. If you check the call/text consent box, we record that you did, the exact consent wording shown, the time, and the page you were on.
- Technical information. Our forms record the page address, the referring page, campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source), your browser type, and your approximate country.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and whether a form was submitted. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and collects information like device, browser, approximate location, and pages visited. You can learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services, and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use the site, such as clicks and scrolling, so we can improve it; Clarity uses cookies and hides what you type into forms. Learn more in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

- To keep records of consent and meet legal and regulatory requirements

How it's stored and shared
Form submissions are stored in Google Sheets in our agency's Google account and passed there through our automation provider (Zapier). Booking requests are handled by our scheduling provider. Information is available to our agency and our licensed agents, and is shared with service providers and insurance carriers only as needed to provide quotes, process applications, or run our business. These providers may only use it to provide services to us.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a business transfer.
We don't sell your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing. We won't share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Calls and text messages
If you agree to calls and texts, message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent is never a condition of purchase. You can also ask us to stop calling by telling your agent or emailing us.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing julia@emersonfg.com. We may keep certain records where the law requires it, such as consent and insurance application records.
Security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards, such as access-controlled accounts, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
